Makati Football Club’s two U14 representatives continue their strong showing in the quarter-finals as the two teams are about to face each other in the semi-finals for a chance at getting to the championship stage.
Makati FC and Makati FC 2006 book their respective tickets to the final four after surviving their respective quarter-finals assignments.
Makati FC edged past P2P Football Academy of Australia with a score of 1-0 while Makati FC 2006 squeaked past Indonesian club Bandung Pro via a penalty shootout that ended in a 3-2 score-line after both teams couldn’t be separated with a 1-1 draw.
The two Makati FC clubs are set to clash on November 7 at 8:00AM on Pitch 2 of The Cage Sports Park in Singapore.
Kaya FC Academy also reached the semi-finals facing FOSSBI of Indonesia.
In the U16 division, Filipino club Futbol Funatics – FFAST end their campaign in the qualifiers after going down by a small 1-0 margin against Football South Australia ending the Philippines’ sole representatives’ in the U16.
